1. Intermediary Platform Disclaimer & Safe Harbour (Section 79 of IT Act, 2000)

MUJ Hostels operates strictly as an "Intermediary" under **Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India)**. We enjoy safe-harbour immunity and are not liable for any third-party content, listings, specifications, or communication links uploaded by property owners. Any rental contract, agreement, or transaction is entered strictly between the tenant (student/parent) and the landlord. We hold zero liability.

2. Accuracy of Listings & Photos

While we strive to display high-quality photos and accurate property specifications, the information is provided by owners or compiled from public details. **Users must physically visit and verify the rooms, security, and facilities before making any booking or financial commitment.**

3. Financial Transactions & Rent Deposits

MUJ Hostels does NOT process rent, booking tokens, or security deposits. All transactions are handled directly. Any loss or dispute arising from money paid to PG owners is entirely at the User's own risk. We will never be responsible for refunds.

4. "MH Verified" Badge Disclaimer

The "MH Verified" badge indicates a basic check on the physical existence of listing details at the time of verification. It does NOT serve as a safety stamp, structural guarantee, roommate behavior guarantee, or legal endorsement of the property.

5. Tenancy & Roommate Disputes

We do not interfere in disputes regarding electricity bills, mess food quality, roommate behavior, early eviction, or deposit refunds. Landlords and tenants must resolve disputes independently.

6. No Vetting or Character Checks (Safety Protection)

MUJ Hostels does NOT conduct background checks, criminal record checks, or vetting on any PG owner, warden, student, roommate, or resident. We are not responsible for any theft, harassment, physical altercations, or roommate safety issues.

7. No Health, Mess Food, or Medical Liability (Health Protection)

We bear no liability for mess food quality, water safety, food poisoning, structural accidents, electrical shocks, fire breakouts, or medical emergencies. Landlords are solely responsible for structural integrity, safety, and insurance.

8. Technical Uptime & Service Interruption ("As-Is" Clause)

The website is provided "As-Is". We are not liable to landlords or tenants for any temporary website downtime, server issues, lead submission failures, or loss of potential business.

9. Listing Removal Right

We reserve the absolute right to reject, modify, hide, unapprove, or delete any property listing from our platform at any time, for any reason (complaints, spam, false details), without prior notice or liability.

10. User Behavior & Submissions

Spam, fake bookings, fake reviews, or uploading illegal/misleading data is strictly prohibited. Property owners are solely liable for the legality of their listings and local municipal permits.

11. Absolute Safe-Harbor Clause (Indemnity)

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MUJ Hostels, its founders, developers, and administrators from any claims, losses, fees, or legal disputes arising from your use of this site or your decision to rent any property listed here.

12. Amendments & Jurisdiction

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement. Any legal disputes arising out of the website use are subject strictly to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
